The Opioid State Targeted Response Technical Assistance (STR-TA) Consortium supports community efforts to address the need for evidence-based practices in the prevention, identification, treatment, and recovery of Opioid Use Disorders (OUD). Funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the project provides local expertise to communities, is led by the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP). This presentation will highlight illustrative TA requests providing participants with an understanding of the opportunities available.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to describe how technical assistance can assist providers in addressing the US opioid crisis.
- Participants will be able to understand different approaches to delivering community-based technical assistance used to address the US opioid crisis.
- Describe resources from the Opioid State Targeted Response – Technical Assistance (STR-TA) Consortium.
