Dr. Andrew Klein is a former Administrator for the Massachusetts Probation Department, where he initiated the first state urine testing program for probationers, initiated community service as a condition of probation, and started the first domestic violence court in the nation. Dr. Klein holds a PhD in Law, Policy and Society, has written three criminal justice texts, and served as principle investigator on number of criminal justice research efforts. He has led a technical assistance center for the Bureau of Justice assistance for correctional substance abuse treatment programs.
