Accreditation is a key component to promoting quality in health and human services and can be a guide to improvement in organizational management and service delivery. This session will provide an overview of the accreditation process and how an organization can use accreditation to promote quality. Standard updates for the current standard manual year will be reviewed, including CARF’s new Office Based Opioid Treatment standards as well as a focus on some common challenges for organizations. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions about CARF standards and processes.
