Rhode Island

Wendy holds several degrees including Criminal Justice, Nursing and earned a Bachelor Degree majoring in Social and Health Services with a minor in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island which she received in 1993.  She began working in the substance abuse field in 1994 as a counselor and nurse.  She then became the Nursing Director, then Program Director and ultimately oversaw two clinics until 2001.  In 2003, she opened a clinic in Rhode Island where she remains the Program Director/CEO.

Currently, Wendy serves on several Boards in Rhode Island including the Opioid Treatment Association of Rhode Island, the Governors’ Council on Behavioral Health, Rhode Island Problem Gambling, Rhode Island State Nurses Association, Rhode Island Nurses Institute Middle College, and is Treasurer of Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council.  In addition, she enjoys being a CARF Surveyor.  Wendy is also involved in education and advocacy efforts within the community.
