Ms. Beckley is currently the Compliance Officer for Behavioral Health Group, a provider of opioid treatment services with treatment centers in seven states. She has been with BHG’s Colorado treatment centers since 2000 where she was previously the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor for the three OTPs before becoming the Colorado and Oklahoma Regional Manager. As Compliance Officer, Ms. Beckley facilitates the BHG treatment centers being in compliance with state and federal regulations and Joint Commission standards as well as assisting in the transition to electronic record keeping. Ms. Beckley is currently participating in the Colorado rule revision process.

Ms. Beckley has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with Post-Master’s training in Marriage and Family Therapy. In that capacity, she worked as a family therapist and clinical supervisor in residential treatment programs while also maintaining a small private practice. As a result of those experiences, Ms. Beckley became increasingly aware of the depth of substance abuse problems in the Denver Metro Area and became part of a committee which developed a substance abuse treatment program for three residential treatment centers. At the same time, she pursued a drug and alcohol certification becoming a senior level addiction counselor in Colorado. After leaving the residential programs, Ms. Beckley worked as an equine therapy volunteer and then instructor working with a diverse group of riders from women with traumatic brain injuries, to autistic children and victims of trauma.

After participating in establishing the Colorado Organization for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence, Ms. Beckley served as COTOD’s Secretary for several years and has also served as its Chairperson. She currently represents Colorado on the Board of Directors of the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence.
