Susan Case is a member of the Alabama Methadone Treatment Association (ALAMTA) and member of the Board of Directors of the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD).
Mrs. Case has been working in the treatment of opioid dependence field for the past 24 years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama in 1988. She also earned a Master of Science Degree in 1990 and an Educational Specialist Degree in 1996 in Counseling from the University of South Alabama. Presently, she is the Program Director at Mobile Metro Treatment Center which is a facility of Colonial Management Group, LP. She recently took the Program Director’s position after traveling for most of the last nine years as the Regional Director for Alabama and Georgia facilities of Colonial Management Group, LP. As Regional Director, she supervised 9 of Colonial Managements treatment programs.
Prior to Colonial Management Group, LP, she worked at ALTA Pointe in Mobile, AL as coordinator of their 8 substance abuse programs from 1988 until 2004. Mrs. Case has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2000.
Mrs. Case is married and is the mother of five children and the grandmother of six grandchildren. She resides in Mobile, Alabama with her husband of 31 years.
