Joshua has been working in the addiction field in some capacity since 2001, when he began working with Auberle, a large organization serving kids and their families in the Pittsburgh area. In 2006, Joshua achieved his Master’s of Organizational Leadership through Geneva College and obtained a leadership position with Discovery House, a national organization offering Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). He is currently serving as Regional Director with Acadia Healthcare over their Comprehensive Treatment Centers in Western PA and Ohio. For over 13 years, Joshua has been working in MAT, providing care to thousands of people directly affected by opiate addiction. He has consulted with and taken part in regulation reform for MAT with the Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Managed Care Organizations, hospitals, prisons and residential treatment facilities. He was also a CARF Surveyor from 2014 through 2016.
