Jennifer Stukey has been a licensed nurse for 24 years.  She entered the field of medication assisted treatment in 2003 when the military moved her family to Anchorage, Alaska.  Currently, she serves as Chief Operating Officer of a clinic that has been operating for 50 years. Her goal is to contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities by promoting recovery and supporting individuals in reclaiming their lives from the grips of opioid use disorder.  Jennifer developed specialty programs and partnerships with local hospitals for pregnant women struggling with opioid use disorder.  Her goal is to ensure that women are entering an inclusive, non-judgmental environment for prenatal and postnatal care. In 2006, she was awarded the Behavioral Health Nurse of the Year from the March of Dimes.  From 2016-2018, Jennifer was selected to serve on the Alaska State Board of Nursing; she was the Chairperson of the board in 2018.  She worked for CARF as a Program Surveyor for 12 years.  Jennifer serves as the Alaska representative to Stop Stigma Now and the Regional Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor Training (RADACT) Board of Directors. She represents her organization with the Anchorage Opioid Task Force.   With a compassionate and patient-centered approach, Jennifer strives to create a safe and supportive environment for those on the path to recovery.
