Cheryl Gardine began working in the substance abuse treatment field in 1985 as a detox technician at Koala Center. She received her certification as a substance abuse counselor in 1986 and became the Clinical Director of the Adult Program until its closing in 1989. In 1990 she became the Clinical Director of the Vista Program until its closing in 1991. She was then hired by Bridgeway Counseling Services as a substance abuse counselor.
In 1992 Ms. Gardine began working for DART. She received her LCSW in 1993. She began as the Clinical Supervisor of the outpatient program. In 1998 she became the Clinical Director for the Methadone Program and a 35 bed Modified Medical Detox Program until it closed in 2004.
Ms Gardine is a Co-founder and the Executive Director of Center for Life Solutions, Inc, which officially opened Jan 1, 2005.
Ms Gardine currently serves on the Missouri State Advisory Council. She also serves as a Board Member of the Missouri Substance Abuse Professional Credentialing Board. She also serves on the advisory board of Employment Connection. She is the Missouri delegate for the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence.
