Brian Crissman received his Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1996. He began working in the substance abuse field as a counselor for We Care Health Services in Maryland in1996. Mr. Crissman then moved to Washington DC in 1997 and started working for Partners In Drug Abuse and Rehabilitative Counseling (PIDARC) as a substance abuse counselor. PIDARC was founded in 1971 and is the oldest, non-profit Methadone Maintenance program in Washington DC. He became the Assistant Director in 2003 and the Director of the PIDARC program in 2006.

Mr. Crissman currently remains the Director of PIDARC. He is the Washington DC delegate for the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence AATOD.
